The Official Website of Charles Butler & Trinity

Charles Butler & Trinity is a community based choir led by Charles Butler. Based out of the Washington, DC area, Trinity combines urban soul with contemporary gospel music, and has become one of the most distinctive and sought after non-recording gospel groups on the East Coast.

Since their commencement in 1996, the group has had the opportunity to share the stage with the likes of Karen Clark-Sheard, Natalie Wilson & SOP, James Hall and Worship & Praise, Lecresia Campbell, Professor Craig Hayes, Albertina Walker, Rev. Timothy Wright, Beverly Crawford, Prophetess Juanita Bynum-Weeks, Pastor Jamal Bryant and Bishop Eddie Long. Charles Butler & Trinity performed with the gospel musical "Is Silver & Gold Worth Your Soul," as well as sang live on the TBN network and on the national R&B video show "MHz Urban," which is also shown in Canada.

Charles started Trinity after his tenure as a high school choir director. The choir began with six members, but quickly grew in number, and began to build a grassroots following with DC-area churches.

Trinity’s goal is simply to win souls for Christ. They aim to let both the young and old know that you can love the Lord and enjoy life too.
